Where there is dispute in a commercial transaction, we firmly believe, out of court settlements are more beneficial to both parties in the dispute. Hence, we have been practicing law based on this belief and had the opportunity to complete successfully many out of court settlements. In a more positive note, with the establishment of Maldives International Arbitration Centre (MIAC), we are preparing ourselves to deal and execute more out of court settlements through SIAC.
